The Friday Five for 4/21

The questions in this post come courtesy of [community profile] thefridayfive.

1. Do you like traveling or are you counting the minutes until the transporter is perfected?
I'm not big on travelling. Especially air travel, there's literally nothing worse to me than being stuck in a plane for more than an hour. I'm especially sensitive to pressure changes, so it's migraine city for me. I love every other part of the travelling experience, and I don't mind waiting at airports - but I can't stand air travel and unfortunately, it's the only way I've ever travelled.

2. If you could visit any country in the world right now, where would you go?
There's plenty of places that I'd like to go someday, but right now I'm very interested in exploring places closer to home. I've only been to Eastern Canada once (Halifax & St. John) but only very briefly, and I'd love to go again, and farther up to Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. I'd also like to go to Quebec City and Ottawa.

3. What is your favorite form of travel?
I've only ever travelled by air, but I find the idea of going somewhere by train very appealing - definitely less daunting.

4. What is the longest vacation/holiday that you’ve ever been on?
When I was younger, my family and I would visit Chile for a month at a time. We have family there, so it was mainly to visit them.

5. Would you travel for a living?
Never. I'm a homebody at heart, and I'd get homesick too fast.

It's hard. I tend to get homesick pretty quick, especially for the fur kids. A few days is nice, but after that, I start getting restless and wanting my own bed and cooking

Yikes, it sounds like flying is especially painful for you! I can see why you don't care for it.

I would like to take TBG to Canada and show him around, but who knows if we ever will!

Great answers!
